If you have any of the following conditions you should not take Sumatriptan Succinate: allergy to Sumatriptan Succinate, Raynaud syndrome, strokes in the past, certain types of heart disease, transient ischemic attacks, uncontrolled blood pressure, peripheral vascular disease. You should consult your personal doctor before taking Sumatriptan Succinate if you smoke, have high cholesterole or high blood pressure, diabetes.

In case of overdose you must get immediate medical care.

Before taking Sumatriptan Succinate inform your personal doctor if you take any headache medication, ergotamine or MAO inhibitors such as linezolid, furazolidone, tranylcypromine, phenelzine, selegiline.

Sumatriptan Succinate is not to be taken routinely. Only take this medicine when a migraine attack occurs.
